my x800PRO doesn't break a sweat, so I can't say yet =)
people with Shader Model 2.0 will get up to 6 per pixel lights,
with 1.4 less important lights will be emulated with vertex lighting,
where the most important lights will be per pixel, but I can't say how many
and < 1.4 will use vertex lighting
