Hi, i''m quite new in ogl world [and in 3d graphics programming] and i want to know why (even the simplest 3d scene : 2 sphere with circular move and 1 texture... ) the result is always VERY slow (i think under 3fps...) . I ve got a K6-333 and a voodoo2. please answer me! (sorry for my bad english) lunasol

Hey lunasol,

I also have a voodoo2, and have the same problem as you have described. The solution is that you have to specify in software for the voodoo2 card to be used. This involves downloading the glide SDK at http://www.3dfx.com

Then you can visit http://www.voodooextreme.com/glide3tutorial/ for some simple tutorials on how to open and close a window for your 3dfx card. You will probably also need to visit http://www.glsetup.com to get the latest drivers for the voodoo2 card.

I haven''t tried this yet because I''ve been so busy with school, but I think this is the way to go to solve your problem.
