SDL input speed

Dose SDL use DirectX for its input or dose it use windows events?

Use the source, Luke. (All I can tell you is that it doesn't use either when you're running Linux).

lol well yeah thats true, as long as it can pull the data off the keyboard/mouse fast enough then there really isn't a problem.
Input, sound, and game logic should never have to be a consideration for speed again. Consider networking and graphics the prime areas for optomization.
