some doubts regarding tutorial 38 (including the textures in .exe file)
hi everyone,
i am writing a demo, that uses texture blending. i am storing the bitmap inside the .exe file with the help of tutorial 38.
but the problem is, i am using a texture which has "bit depth " of 32. becos of which notin is getting displayed. instead of the texture, a white QUAD is being displayed.
normal textures which have a bit depth of 24 r working fine.
and also i want to know the difference of gluBuildmipmaps and glTexture2d ie which situation demands the use of specific function.
please help me in this regard.
