Does anyone having experience with doing MIDI syncing with openGL programs? I am looking to program some visuals for a concert, and if possible get everything going on a (MIDI or SMPTE) clock. I found http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=1884777449/001-2290927-5083913 which is supposedly a pretty legitimate resource. Any input?

Also note on that book above that it was written using Windows 95 infrastructure, what are we to expect for a w2k or higher implementation?
