Looking for a 2D artist for a multiplayer, Victorian-era whodunit game

About the Job

As a 2D artist you will be responsible for:

  • Environment art
  • Some character design
  • UI art
  • Game logo art
  • Some light animation work

Our team is led by a developer w/ 5+ years of game dev experience who has released titles on PS4.

We are looking to bring on another artist to largely help with environment art. But, you will have freedom to work in different areas.

About the Game

Our game is a multiplayer whodunit game that takes place in a Victorian-era manor over the course of three stormy nights.

Players are split into two teams: the good and the evil. Good players seek to oust the bad. Bad players seek to destroy the good. Players get randomly assigned roles with unique abilities.

The tone of the game is zany and creepy. Similar titles that match the mood would be: Don't Starve and Psychonauts.

About the Art Style

The game art is 2.5D. The style utilizes watercolor painting techniques with muted colors. Below are samples of character art from the game.

Despite the style we are going for, you are welcome to express your own creative freedom.
