Reminds me of Don't Starve. Have you played it? A very cool indie survival game. I spent a good amount of hours in it. This and Minecraft used to be real-time portals for me. I remember the good old days when Minecraft just appeared. My gaming buddies and I used to hop on one of the bedwars servers and play, create, and have fun together while losing the sense of time. Ah, the good old gaming days, how I miss those.
