I think people may be scared of what I'd say and find out?

Most people don't want an unbiased psychological lens on them, and they pay good money for that.

But a recent connection calls himself “the CEO therapist” while being a management consultant himself He is no legit therapist, but game dev leaders need therapists too, and I was on a production discord, and they all said a producer is like a therapist.

I think the other issue is for too long now, every game dev project sees themselves as a sovereign nation. Who am I, the leader of another sovereign nation to come and tell you your Fucked up. And learn your secrets. But I'd do it in the most respectful and ethical way possible. My work is a reflection of who I am, and know if you accept, I'd treat your org with the same respect I do mine.

So I realized, this may make people uncomfortable, but I'm sorry, that's how it really is.

Every team that is unsuccessful, takes talent from the pool of serious people that want to make it in this industry. And if your busy doing something unethical or don't know what your doing at the top, wouldn't it be good to get an unbiased point of view?

I do not have the power to cancel or shut down anyone's game. But I am connected enough to help people who deserve recognition, and maybe get their work Inn front of some decision makers.

I probably will and should charge something for this consulting in the future, And when I get my business psych masters, I'll have no choice but to charge people. But I don't think most hobbyists have that money or else why are they making games? IDK how long I can offer my time for “Free” but I do know it will run out one day, and I'll simply be at a level where I can't take on anything that doesn't bring in a income.
